Experis and Knowit boost their AI focus together with Norwegian Cognitive Center

Through the power of collaboration, the Norwegian Cognitive Center(NCC) accelerates AI development with a creative, innovative, and cost-effective program. We build AI competence across industries and sectors, provide infrastructure in terms of personnel, know-how, and AI platforms.

There is already tough competition for AI expertise in and across all industries. At the same time, organizations need to adapt and incorporate AI expertise in their operations, products, and business models. Therefore, we have developed a program to create the most creative, innovative, and cost-effective AI program to enhance competitive advantages to business or society, in addition to developing knowledge, competence, capability, methods, and tools.

So far, most of NCC's activities have aimed to help several different clients with their specific cases, mainly together with our technology partner IBM. In our brilliant partnership with IBM, NCC serves as a facilitator, matching challenges with experienced problem solvers, but we need to accelerate AI development even further and faster! That is why we at NCC are starting to offer consulting companies competence-building activities.

Most consulting companies have some degree of AI competence today, but it's too often limited to a few people in the organization – We need more hands-on-deck to tackle the tasks ahead. Our technology partner IBM has developed a program with IBM Watson for associated consulting partners of Norwegian Cognitive Center. This way, consulting partners can take part in developing the different cases we handle in the center - further on with their clients and without support from IBM.  

The consulting companies Experis and Knowit has already finished our program, where over 40 resources from both organizations have been through a specialized training program as an IBM Partner. The program does not just give you the basic overview of Watson and training activities, but also comes with an experienced contact-person that helps when you need further support, guidance, or they work together throughout the project.
