New ecosystem and a way to share data and knowledge in all industries

The Norwegian Cognitive Center is a national center for Applied Crossover AI. A wide range of industries, companies, academic institutions and clusters have joined forces in a national consortium to fuel AI research, solutions and expertise. 

A wide range of strong cross sector industries, entrepreneurship, solid and relevant academic research environments and a forward-looking public sector lay the foundation for this groundbreaking initiative. Key institutions are:

• NORCE - The Norwegian Research Centre.

• Seven national industry clusters representing hundreds of strong industry players, many of them global leaders in their fields, within Media, Seafood, Ocean technologies, Finance, Helthcare, Property, CleanTech, Energy and more. 

• NORA - The Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium, representing Universities all over Norway including University of Oslo (UiO), University of Bergen (UiB), University of Stavanger (UiS), The Arctic University of Norway (UiT), Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet), University of Agder (UiA), Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), NORCE Norwegian Research Centre AS (NORCE) and Simula Research Laboratory (Simula).

• The Municipality of Bergen, a frontrunner in digital services in new and pioneering ways in the public sector.

• Norwegian Cognitive Center is also a partner within the DIH Oceanopolis
