The Bowtie method is a risk evaluation method that can be used to analyze and demonstrate causal relationships in high-risk scenarios. The method takes its name from the shape of the diagram that you create, which looks like a men's bowtie.
In this webinar we had the pleasure of meeting Coen van Gulijk, a senior researcher at TNO Healthy Living, a visiting professor at the University of Huddersfield and visiting researcher at the Delft University of Technology. Coen van Gulijk works on the IT transformation of Safety Management Systems and Risk Analysis. Coen is in this video speaking about risk management, and digitalization of safety management with BowTies with a special focus on linking engineering systems with human tasks.
