AI workshop with Morten Goodwin

The opportunities with artificial intelligence, when you are not Google

About this event

THIS EVENT IS IN COOPERATION WITH NCE MEDIA AND IS OPEN TO ALL - FREE FOR MEDIA CLUSTER MEMBERS.

High-quality artificial intelligence is today reserved for a few dominant companies, and they manage to get top-performing algorithms because they have access to data and computing power. What opportunities exist for the rest of us, and what does it take for a small environment in Bergen to benefit from artificial intelligence. Several times, it has been shown that the algorithms can automate tasks we may have reserved for humans and learn most details about each individual. What ethical challenge does it give us, and how do we find the right balance. The workshops will include a brief introduction to topics that need, prerequisites, ethical and moral dilemmas, and change management. The participants work with specific issues in groups. There will be an active discussion of each topic.

Morten Goodwin is a professor at the University of Agder and one of Norway's foremost experts on artificial intelligence. He is an active researcher with a lot of humor and alternates his time between being a teacher, public debater, communicator, and researcher. In addition, he holds up to 100 popular science lectures annually and focuses on the enormous advances that screen both research and the practical usefulness of artificial intelligence.
