First International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence for Dementia Prevention

The AIDEM 2020

First International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence for Dementia Prevention, Intervention and Care investigates the emerging use of AI-enabled intelligent assistive technologies (IAT) available to caregivers and older adults with cognitive deficits and explores the challenges in socioeconomic status and technological literacy as well as ethical and legal implications that should be considered in the design and development of IAT for older adults with cognitive deficits. Drawing from existing state-of-the-art, AIDEM will suggest novel technologies and services for the design and adoption aimed at increased and equitable access for this vulnerable population.

The event includes outstanding keynote speeches from stakeholders in technology, science and healthcare as well as state-of-the-art scientific presentations and a demonstration session.

One of the presenters are Bettina Husebø from University of Bergen who will at 11:15 present her keynote speak about Assistive technology for home-dwelling people with dementia in times of COVID-19
